stairs and outer walls

The stairs are in and they are very beautiful and simple! We used a fossilized stone, so every piece looks different! I am pleased!

The outer walls are also painted! We decided to use brown....different and beautiful! Now our house needs its "face"!!!!! We will have tiles in the front! They should do it today....but nobody was there!Maybe tomorrow, who knows!

The first plans are ready

After a couple of weeks designing and changing the first plans are ready! This will be more or less our house!

It will be a 100 m2 bungalow with a 50-60 m2 attic! We build a light steel frame house and it will only take 4 month to build it!

Why light steal frame?

Environmental Benefits

Steel is 100% recyclable and can be used time again and again without losing its properties. Because it weighs less transport costs are lower and it doesn't end up as waste. So its environmental credentials are as good as timber framing.

In addition to the environmental benefits, light steel offers a lot of other benefits like:
  • Lower maintenance costs
  • Decreased utility bills
  • Higher resale value
  • Fire resistance
  • Mold free
  • Pest/termite free
  • Durable
  • Weather resistant
LSF can be engineered to meet the highest seismic and wind loads. Steel has the highest strength to weight ratio of any framing materials and a lighter structure with stronger connections results in lower damage from earthquakes. Important for TAIWAN!

At the moment we are organizing a meeting with the building contractor and the architect!

So, here are the first plans!!!!!
