Today they finished the concrete floor! A week ahead of schedule!Very nice!!!!!

For 2 days they are working on the water pipes and electricity tubes! Hopefully they will finish it today or tomorrow! The next step will be the concrete floor!

Today, they finished most of the steel work for the ground floor! Now we have to wait for the plumber before they can continue with the concrete!

Steel construction

Today they started the steel construction!! They are so fast!

First dig

After almost a year of preparation and planning it happened! Today, the digger arrived and work started!

I still can't believe it, in 6-7 month we'll have a house!

Ground breaking!

Finally....a date!

Most of the problems are solved and we have all the necessary licenses,except the temporary water and electricity license (but this is a "No  Problem License" )! So, we are ready to go!

Last Sunday we had a final meeting and a date for ground breaking was set! Ground breaking will be on February 14th! The build will take 6 months and we can,hopefully, move in in September or October!
So, we will sign the contract right after Chinese New Year....and then it's go time!

I will post some pictures of the ground breaking mid of next month!HOPEFULLY!

Building update

We had a breakthrough yesterday!
All three parties (We,construction company and architect) agree on a design,budget and a time frame!

Groundbreaking will be at the beginning of March!Yes, finally a date!

Here are the the updated plans! There might be still some minor changes, we will see!
